He has spent decades as a partner in large national and international law firms. Bill has over $3 billion of transactional experience.

Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brown University as well as degrees from Suffolk University Law School and Boston University Law School.

BLG limits it practice to business law, including private company mergers and acquisitions; venture capital and private equity financings; executive compensation, including stock option, phantom equity and employee stock purchase plans; protection and licensing of intellectual property; preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts; representation of borrowers in commercial loan transactions; advising start-ups and early-stage companies; investment fund formation, including real estate investment, leveraged buyout and hedge funds. The firm’s clients are primarily private companies, including early-stage technology companies, and investors in such companies.
